It is the surgery which allows breast reconstruction, partially or totally. There are many techniques, just prostheses, previous expansion followed by definite prostheses or Becker prosthesis undergoing only a single surgical procedure; regional or distance flaps, the choice will depend on many factors which would be discussed with the patient. The operation will depend on a consensus between the Mastologist, the Oncologist and Plastic Surgeon. We should know that presently reconstruction is the right of every mastectomized woman and that results are most gratifying.
