Normally, depending on medical indication, it can be achieved through a retroglandular or retromuscular position implant of silicone prosthesis. Prosthesis are smooth, texturized or of polyurethane, filled with cohesive silicone gel, meaning that in case of prothesis rupturing, the gel does not migrate infiltrating the tissues, on the contrary, it remains in its shell. It may be combined with a correction of breast ptosis (flaccidity). The approach can be periareolar or if preferred, beneath the breast.
