It is surgery which has as its main purpose to harmonize the nose with rest of the face. For this reason, there must be a good diagnosis of the problem to be solved; always taking into account that small surgical manoeuvres show better esthetic results. The objectives can be a prominent hump, a wide nose, fallen or thickened tip or twisted nose, or all of these. It may be combined with a septoplasty or corrective surgery to straighten de nasal septum.
