The rinofima is nasal skin pathology, which can be present due to various causes, not only due to excessive alcoholism. It consists of a thickening of the skin due to an enlargement of sebaceous glands, and also to the local blood irrigation, giving the typical clown nose appearance. It has a definite surgical solution as it improves self- esteem and allows to lead a normal social life.
