It is most frequent to see this deformity in women after pregnancy. It can also be seen in men after important weight loss. It consists in skin and fat resection of the abdominal wall, generally accompanied by liposuction of certain fatty areas of the torso and in the correction of separation of straight abdominal muscles. It can be a minimal abdominoplasty (only the lower third of the abdomen) or total. It is done under rachideal anesthesia or preferably general.
