It is surgery that anatomically reconstructs all areas of the face. It can be partial, (upper or lower half of the face) or total. It can be combined with chin liposuction and mandible contours. It has complications like every surgery, especially if it is a second lifting. There could be bleeding, harm of the facial nerve (usually short-term), infections and haematomas.
